The 89th AW invited La Sauce to tour the wing, talk to Airmen and present her with a customized SAM Fox blues jacket in honor of her contributions to the Air Force. La Sauce achieved a number of firsts during her career including becoming the first female to pilot the C-141 Starlifter aircraft, first female pilot for the 89th AW and the first woman to command an aerial port squadron.
