Col. Robert Hughes, commander of Kosovo Force 26’s Regional Command-East, passes the NATO flag to Lt. Col. Kyle Akers of the 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment, Oregon Army National Guard, March 16, 2020, at Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. Hughes the outgoing KFOR 26 RC-E commander passed the NATO flag to Akers to gesture the transferring of command authority.
