Sgt. Maj. Russell Throckmorton passes the NATO flag to Lt. Col. Samuel Scott, commander of Kosovo Force 26 Regional Command-East’s kinetic battalion, March 16, 2020, at Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. Throckmorton and Scott lead KFOR 26’s kinetic battalion and participated in a change of command ceremony today where they transferred command authority to the incoming KFOR 27 kinetic battalion commander and sergeant major. Throckmorton and Scott, along with all of KFOR 26 forces, have fulfilled their nine-month-long mission of service to the people of Kosovo, ensuring their security and freedom of movement.
