    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    Lt. Col. Seth Folsom, outgoing battalion commander of 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, hands the battalion guidon to Lt. Col. Edward Greeley, the incoming battalion commander of 3rd Bn., 7th Marines, during a change of command here, June 28. Folsom led the Marines and sailors of the battalion for the last 15 months, to include a 7-month deployment to Helmand province, Afghanistan in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Greeley, who will begin training the Marines in preparation for another combat deployment, was the executive officer for I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group.
