Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Basic Combat Training Soldiers sit on a training field while waiting for their buses to arrive March 31, 2020. Due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Soldiers remained at the installation after graduation for two weeks before shipping to Fort Lee, Virginia, to attend AIT.
