Directorate General of Medical Services Lt. Col. Fakhrul Alam MD, serving in the Bangladesh Army Medical Corps, presents a lecture about what health and hygiene measures should be taken to break the coronavirus and how to treat suspected cases, March 6, 2020, at Savor Cantonment, Bangladesh. Alam participated in CFE-DM’s two-week Health Emergencies in Large Populations (H.E.L.P.) workshop, in 2019. The workshop is conducted in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross and University of Hawaii’s Office of Public Health Study where he participated in discussions and practical exercises with top medical and public health professionals, from the military and civilian sector, to understand the latest trends in preparedness and response to epidemics and health emergencies.
