The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regional Rivers Repair Fleet reinstalls the Black Rock Lock upper west miter gate in Buffalo, NY, April 8, 2020. The crew is reinstalling a gudgeon ear which holds the gate onto the Lock wall.
Buffalo District, Huntington District, and Regional Rivers Repair Fleet (R3F) personnel from fleets moored in Pittsburgh, Nashville and Louisville are working to improve the Black Rock Lock infrastructure and sustain its functionality for future navigation seasons.
