Sustainment personnel wait to transport medical-supply containers for COVID-19 mitigation in the U.S. Central Command Region on April 9, 2020 at the Port of Shuaiba, Kuwait. The cargo was delivered by the delivered by the 335th Transportation Detachment aboard Logistics Support Vessel USAV SP4 James A. Loux (LSV-6), a joint-service asset throughout the theater. Along with wearing face masks during delivery operations, the crew implemented additional cleaning measures while the vessel's underway as part of a health-protection plan, said U.S. Army Warrant Officer Shawn Partin, third mate aboard the LSV-6.
