A soldier from 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, serves food to members of the Blue Spader Association at Thorn park, during an organizational day event June 22. More than 70 Blue Spader veterans, boasting service from World War II through present day, traveled from all over the country to attend the event which included a formal Blue Spader Association dinner the following day.
