Less than a week after returning from I Corps' yearlong deployment to Afghanistan, Lt. Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti, the commanding general of I Corps, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., takes the time, during the bi-annual community connector meeting at the McChord Co-Located Club, JBLM, June 19, to inform more than 40 local community leaders of the positive impact I Corps made during its recent deployment. At this meeting leaders from JBLM and the surrounding communities exchange information, which allows them provide support to one another at JBLM and within the surrounding communities.
