NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 11, 2020) Sailors assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion (NCHB), 30th Naval Construction Regiment (30NCR) and Marines assigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 3 (CLR 3) prepare to offload equipment for an Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) from Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312). The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
