FORT BENNING, Ga. – At Fort Benning's Lindsey Creek Visitor Control Center April 24, a visitor asking to be allowed onto the post shows a pass he'd just printed from a self-service machine set up for that purpose. Visits to the post for social, recreational or entertainment purposes have been banned since March to minimize the spread of COVID-19, but visits for certain other purposes, including deliveries of food, supplies, gas and medicine, among other types, are allowed.
