To minimize the spread of COVID-19, officials in March banned most visits, including those for social, recreational or entertainment purposes, but visits for certain other purposes, including deliveries of food, supplies, gas and medicine, among other types, are allowed, and the post remains open to those who are members of the Fort Benning military community have proper identification cards.
