200502-N-DE082-1043 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 02, 2020) – U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) sails into formation in order to conduct an underway replenishment (UNREP). U.S. Navy ships at sea conduct events like UNREPs to deliver essential parts, food and mail needed to keep the fleet on mission. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
