Col. Omar Lomas, commander, 42nd Military Police Brigade, awards the Order of the Marechaussee (Steel) to BG Kevin Leahy, Deputy Commanding General for Operations, 7th Infantry Division, during a ceremony on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The award, named after the Marechaussee Corps formed by Gen. George Washington, is one of the highest honors an MP can receive, and must be approved by the Commandant of the MP Corps.
