Col. Omar Lomas, commander, 42nd Military Police Brigade, and CSM Chuck Laird, 42nd Military Police Brigade, congratulate BG Kevin Leahy, Deputy Commanding General for Operations, 7th Infantry Division, for being awarded the Order of the Marechaussee (Steel) during a ceremony on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The award, named after the Marechaussee Corps formed by Gen. George Washington, is one of the highest honors an MP can receive, and must be approved by the Commandant of the MP Corps.
