An Iraqi army soldier from the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division (mechanized) hands out comic books, crayons and other goodies to children at an elementary school in Jerf Al-Mila, Iraq, Oct. 17, as part of the Iraqi army's 'Junior Hero' program. The program gives the children insight into the types of roles the Iraqi security forces play in local communities and promotes volunteerism.
