A recently graduated Fort Jackson basic combat trainee buckles his safety belt aboard a chartered flight to Fort Sam Houston, Texas, May 8. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a recent stop movement order issued by Secretary of Defense Mark Esper Fort Jackson delayed shipping Soldiers to their Advanced Individual Training sites. Through mutual planning and coordination, the turnaround time to ship Soldiers has been reduced from weeks to a few days.
