Jackson County Mayor Randy Heady congratulates the entire staff at Wildwood Resort & Marina for achieving “Clean Marina” status during a dedication May 21, 2020 at the resort located at Cordell Hull Lake in Granville, Tennessee. The event recognized the marina’s voluntary efforts to reduce water pollution and erosion in the Cumberland River watershed, and for promoting environmentally responsible marina and boating practices. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District required the owners to sign a pledge card committing to the ideals of controlling pollution and erosion. Then the facility completed a clean marina checklist and developed an action plan to meet their goals. (USACE photo by Leon Roberts)
