Rear Adm. Craig Clapperton, commander, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 12, receives a brief from Lt. Cmdr. Chabonnie Alexander, USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) ordnance handling officer, on Ford's Advanced Weapons Elevators June 3, 2020. Clapperton made his first official visit as CSG-12 commander, to evaluate Ford's operational procedures and ability to support the strike groups command and control mission.
