One of the smoke stacks is removed from the historic steam plant on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, during the initial phases of its demolition, June 24, 2020. The steam plant was built in 1942 and was decommissioned in April of 2017. During its operation it was the largest central steam plant owned by the United States Military.
