FORT BENNING, Ga. – Officials of the Henry Caro Noncommissioned Officer Academy here plan to place this sign around the school's perimeter and post guards at key locations as part of their all-out effort to shield – to the extent possible – the academy's students and cadre from exposure to COVID-19. Other precautions include COVID-19 nasal swab testing for 100 percent of students newly arrived for class, limiting group sizes to 16 students, rigorous cleaning of classrooms six times daily, and placing limits on student movements, among other measures. The academy is part of Fort Benning's U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, and trains Infantry and Armor noncommissioned officers.
