Kosovo Force Regional-Command East effects battalion troops salute at a change of command ceremony July 3, 2020, on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The multinational troops makeup multiple liaison monitoring teams, within RC-E's effects battalion, who are charged with supporting situational awareness and KFOR communication campaigns in RC-E’s area of responsibility. LMTs work closely alongside community members, their leaders, and non-government organizations in an effort to ensure the safety and security and freedom of movement for all the people in Kosovo in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.
