CAMP PENDLETON, California (July 17, 2020) – U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Michael Liguori assumed command of MCTSSA in a ceremony aboard Camp Pendleton July 17, 2020. He described his excitement and gratitude to the work force which is comprised of a diverse group of Marines, civilians and contractors. He previously served as the executive officer and says he's ready for the challenges of leading the team that fills one of the most unique missions in the Marine Corps. MCTSSA, established in 1970, conducts testing, evaluation, engineering, and provides direct technical support to the Fleet Marine Forces for Marine Corps and Joint Service command, control, computer, communications, intelligence (C4I) systems and expeditionary combat vehicle systems in order to inform acquisition decisions to make Marines more capable.
