Sgt. Melvin Segue, a legal clerk with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, accesses a simulated casualty during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, July 15, 2020. The SPMAGTF-SC medical team train the Marines in TCCC to be able to teach and utilize the skills reviewed here with partner nation medical personnel. TCCC reinforces the Marines skills to provide lifesaving care and to limit the risk of further casualties. The task force is prepared and postured to deploy to the Latin American and the Caribbean region to work alongside partner nation militaries, enhancing combined crisis response efforts.
