WAIANAE, Hawaii (July 9, 2020) Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) contractors assist Sailors assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) ONE in removing defunct equipment on Nanakuli Beach in Waianae, Hawaii, July 9. MDSU-1 Sailors removed underwater equipment and cables that were once part of a Navy multi-purpose sensor test range for ships and submarines. MDSU ONE provides expeditionary and rapidly deployable diving and salvage companies capable of conducting harbor clearance, salvage, underwater search and recovery, and underwater emergency repair operations in the most challenging environments.
