WAIANAE, Hawaii (July 8, 2020) Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) ONE Company (CO) 1-5 Navy Diver 2nd Class Isaac Padilla cuts conduits and wires as Navy Diver 2nd Class Kenny Hall, also of MDSU ONE CO 1-5, performs safety observer duties off Nanakuli Beach in Waianae, Hawaii, July 8. MDSU ONE Sailors removed underwater equipment and cables that were once part of a Navy multi-purpose sensor test range for ships and submarines. MDSU ONE provides expeditionary and rapidly deployable diving and salvage companies capable of conducting harbor clearance, salvage, underwater search and recovery, and underwater emergency repair operations in the most challenging environments.
