    Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19       

    U.S. Army Maj. Gen. David P. Glaser, Deputy Commanding General - Operations, U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) and Deborah Meeks, a chief nursing officer exit the intensive care unit as they discuss current hospital conditions as well as the support being provided by the Navy’s Rapid Rural Response Team 2 (RRRT2) assigned to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center, Eagle Pass, Texas, July 24, 2020. The RRRTs, consisting of one intensivist, five ICU nurses, and one respiratory therapist, provide rapid hospital support and stabilization during COVID-19 patient surges.
