Col. James F. Reckard III, commander, 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, took command from Col. Frank Y. Rangel Jr., moments ago during the passing of the colors portion of the 4th MEB change of command ceremony held at Gammon Field here, July 18. The final part of the ceremony is for all the units within the 4th MEB conduct a pass and review for the new commander, where all of the soldiers march past their commander for his inspection.
