Capt. Jessica Karlin, Inpector-Instructor for Engineer Company A, 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, accepts a certificate of appreciation from Maj. Leonard Nida, executive officer for joint forces supporting IRT Summit here July 13. Summit awarded all participants and thanked them for their hard work over their 15-day rotation. The joint forces detatchment was put together as a part of an Innovative Readiness Training event that pairs military service members with civil projects that benefit the community.
