200805-N-RH019-0016 CONSTANTA, Romania, (Aug. 5, 2020) U.S. Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Technician Dive Supervisor, of EOD Mobile Unit 8, controls the tending line as the diver conducts a backwards roll into Black Sea during Eurasian Partnership Mine Countermeasures (EP MCM) 2020, Aug. 5, 2020. EPMCM is a multi-lateral engagement with U.S., Romanian and Bulgarian forces, focused on enhancing mine countermeasure operations in the Black Sea, while strengthening interoperability between allied forces. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint, and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
