200806-N-RH019-0024 CONSTANTA, Romania, (Aug. 6, 2020) A U.S. Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal technician, from Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit 8, conducts improvised explosive device detonation training with the Bulgarian and Romanian naval forces, during Eurasian Partnership Mine Countermeasures (EP MCM) 2020 exercise, Aug. 6, 2020. EPMCM is a multi-lateral engagement with U.S., Romanian and Bulgarian forces, focused on enhancing mine countermeasure operations in the Black Sea, while strengthening interoperability between allied forces. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint, and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
