U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Andre Rice, 449th Air Expeditionary Group weapons safety manager, applies simulated wounds to Airman 1st Class Kaitlyn McClaskey, 449th AEG knowledge operations manager, prior to conducting a personnel recovery exercise with the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron July 18, 2012, in the Grand Bara Desert, Djibouti. The simulated casualties allowed the pararescuemen to practice insertion, emergency medical, and extraction procedures during a joint training exercise in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
