John Hamercheck, Lake County commissioner president, speaks about the recently completed 600-foot revetment wall at the Lake County Raw Water Pump Station during a ribbon cutting ceremony June 18 at the pump station in Painesville, Ohio. Rep. David Joyce, Lake County Commissioners, and Lake County Utilities attended the Army Corps of Engineers- Buffalo District hosted ceremony.
The stone revetment will safeguard the pump station, which is a critical infrastructure that ~40,000 Northeast Ohioans depend on for clean water.
