Lt. Col. Jason Toth, former commander of the Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, speaks about the importance of the completion of the revetment at the Lake County Raw Water Pump Station during a ribbon cutting ceremony June 18 in Painesville, Ohio.
The Buffalo District hosted the ceremony at the pump station to celebrate the completion of a 600-foot revetment wall that will protect the shoreline in front of the pump station from further erosion. Rep. David Joyce, Lake County Commissioners, and Lake County Utilities attended the ceremony.
Additionally, this was Toth’s final ceremony as the Buffalo District’s commander before Lt. Col. Eli Adams officially took command of the district June 26.
