A member of the California National Guard’s 132nd Multi-Role Bridge Company, braves cold water and strong current to secure a floating platform, Aug. 23, 2020, at Cache Creek Canyon Low Water Bridge, Capay Valley, California. The 132nd was called into emergency to construct a 100-foot improved ribbon bridge to allow California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection first responders quicker access to battle the ongoing LNU Lightning Complex Fire in Northern California.
