PHILLIPINE SEA (Aug. 25, 2020) U.S. Marine Cpl. Franklin Dike, a motor transport operator and a native of Lagos, Nigeria, and Cpl. Bryan Quiroga, a motor transport mechanic and a native of Columbus, Nebraska, both with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, clean a dumbbell rack while aboard Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42). Germantown, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), 31st MEU team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet are of operation to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
