PHILLIPINE SEA (Aug. 25, 2020) U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Luis Pasarell, a landing support specialist and a native of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and Sgt. Elson Velazquez, a motor transport mechanic and a native of Detroit, Michigan, both with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit clean gym equipment while aboard Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42). Germantown, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), 31st MEU team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet are of operation to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
