PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 26, 2020) A Navy medical officer briefs Marines with Law Enforcement (LE) detachment, 31st MEU, on the proper medical procedures when processing detainees, aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). America, flagship of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), 31st MEU team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
