U.S. Marine Maj. Gen. David H. Berger, the commanding general of Task Force Leatherneck, 1st Marine Division (Forward), is greeted by Col. Roger B. Turner Jr., the commanding officer of Regimental Combat Team 5, upon arriving here, July 26, 2012. Berger bid farewell and passed on his thanks to Marines and sailors of the RCT-5, before receiving a final brief on the state of the battlespace from Turner and his staff. Berger also toured the base and viewed a demonstration of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, armed by Marines of 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment.
