U.S. Marine Maj. Gen. David H. Berger, the commanding general of Task Force Leatherneck, 1st Marine Division (Forward), and his staff board an MV-22 Osprey after a tour of the base here, July 26, 2012. During the visit, Berger bid farewell and passed on his thanks to Regimental Combat Team 5, before receiving a final brief on the state of the battlespace from Col. Roger B. Turner Jr., the commanding officer of RCT-5, and his staff. Berger also toured the base and viewed a demonstration of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, armed by Marines of 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment.
