200819-A-RX269-1151 ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 19, 2020) Explosive ordnance disposal technicians assigned to Task Force (TF) 56.1 conduct cast and recovery training from an MH-53 Sea Dragon helicopter attached to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 15 (HM-15) in the Arabian Gulf, Aug 19. TF 56.1 is deployed to the U.S 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
