200819-A-FC661-1002 ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 19, 2020) Explosive ordnance disposal technicians assigned to Combined Task Group (CTG) 52.3 wait for instructions aboard a MH-53 Sea Dragon helicopter, attached to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 15, during cast and recovery training in the Arabian Gulf, Aug 19, 2020. CTG 52.3 and HM-15 are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean Sea and Pacific Ocean through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
