    160th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Team Train in Taji

    Maj. Freemyer, General Surgeon, and Maj. Mottern, Orthopedic Surgeon, unload medical supplies from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter as part of a training exercise on May 29, 2020. They are members of the 160th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Team partnering with the 34th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade to conduct an airdrop mass casualty care exercise while stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq. The primary mission for this exercise was to prepare the surgical team to conduct aerial resuscitative surgical support for special operation forces in defeating Daesh.
