U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Nathaniel Jarvis, 94th Fighter Squadron crew chief and Senior Airman Luis Briones, 94th Fighter Squadron crew chief, perform a post-flight inspection during night flying operations at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Sept. 1, 2020. The 1st Fighter Wing conducted routine night flying operations at Langley Air Force Base and in the surrounding Hamptons Roads community from Aug. 31, through Sept. 3, 2020. The temporary shift to night flying allows the 1st FW to remain current with essential training in order to optimize combat readiness.
