Jeffrey Durham, 2nd AMS noncommissioned officer-in-charge, from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., inspect equipment prior to launching a B-52H Stratofortress for a mission July 24 at Nellis AFB, Nev., during a Red Flag exercise. Red Flag provides an opportunity for Air Force Global Strike Command units to demonstrate their ability to deploy long-range strike forces and deliver precision effects that strengthen the nuclear enterprise.
