A U.S. Marine infantry advisor with the Georgia Training Team explains training operations to Maj. Gen. Stephen M. Neary, commander of Marine Forces Europe and Africa, during a visit to the Algeti Training Area near Tbilisi, Georgia, Sept. 21, 2020. Neary met with members of the Peace Keeping Operations Training Center and the Joint Training Evaluation Center to learn about the facilities and training areas the Georgian and U.S. Marines train on in support of the Georgia Deployment Program which provides U.S. Marine Corps training teams to advise and prepare Georgian forces for their upcoming deployments to Afghanistan.
