Yukla 27, a U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control system aircraft assigned to the 962nd AACS, encountered a flock of geese Sept. 22, 1995, and crashed shortly after takeoff on a routine surveillance training sortie, killing all 24 Canadian and U.S. Airmen aboard.
