U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469 and 9th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB) refuel a UH-1Y Venom helicopter as part of a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) at Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 24, 2020. HMLA-469 conducted the FARP training to increase their familiarity and coordination with refueling and re-arming while operating in forward locations; The training was executed in cooperation with 9th ESB, 3rd Transportation Support Battalion (TSB) and Combat Logistics Regiment (CLR) 3.
