U.S. Marines with 9th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB) observe the take-off of a UH-1Y Venom helicopter during a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) at Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 24, 2020. 9th ESB participated in the FARP training to increase their familiarity and coordination with refueling and re-arming while operating in forward locations; The training was executed in cooperation with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469, 3rd Transportation Support Battalion (TSB) and Combat Logistics Regiment (CLR) 3.
